Understand the current desktop shell and its availability.
The current desktop implementation is a macOS alpha that opens the Verbatik web workspace. It requires an internet connection and uses the same account, workspace, and credits as the browser app.
What the alpha adds
The shell provides native windowing and saves supported generated media to Downloads. Creative features continue to come from the web application.
Availability
The current source includes a universal macOS build for Apple Silicon and Intel, targeting macOS 10.15 or later. Signing, notarization, automatic updates, and Windows packaging remain outside the verified alpha implementation.
Use a build supplied through an official Verbatik channel. This guide does not claim that an old Windows Store listing or a previous desktop installer delivers the current creative workspace.
