Workspaces & Teams

Workspaces are the organizational unit in Verbatik. Each workspace has its own billing balance, API keys, cloned voices, generated music, and team members.

What Is a Workspace?

A workspace is a shared environment where you and your team manage voices, API keys, billing, and usage. Every API call is scoped to a workspace — balance, rate limits, and usage analytics are all tracked per workspace.

Creating a Workspace

  1. Navigate to the workspace switcher in the sidebar.
  2. Click Create Workspace.
  3. Enter a workspace name. A URL slug is generated automatically.
  4. Click Create.

Each user can create up to 6 workspaces. Workspaces you're a member of (but don't own) don't count toward this limit.

Editing a Workspace

Owners and admins can:

  • Change the workspace name from workspace settings.
  • Upload a logo that appears in the sidebar and workspace switcher.

Deleting a Workspace

Only the workspace owner can delete a workspace. This is permanent and will:

  • Remove all workspace data (cloned voices, generated music, usage history).
  • Revoke all API keys.
  • Remove all team members.
  • Delete the billing balance and transaction history.

This action cannot be undone. Export any data you need before deleting.
