Fair Use Policy
Verbatik AI's Pro and Enterprise plans include unlimited Text-to-Speech and Voice Cloning. To ensure a great experience for all users and maintain service quality, these unlimited features are subject to a fair use policy.
How It Works
Each plan has a monthly character allocation for TTS and Voice Cloning. Usage within this allocation is unrestricted. If you exceed the allocation, progressive speed limits are applied — you can still generate, but with increasing delays between requests.

Progressive Throttling
If you exceed your fair use allocation, delays are applied to your TTS and Voice Cloning requests:

Additionally, when throttled, the maximum characters per generation is reduced from 25,000 to 2,500.
Important: Throttling only applies to TTS and Voice Cloning character usage. It does not affect other features like Music, SFX, Images, Videos, or Chat AI.
Notifications
- At 150% usage: You'll receive a warning notification that you're approaching heavy usage.
- At 100% usage: You'll be notified that throttling has begun.
- At 100%+ usage: The admin team is alerted for monitoring.
Usage Tracking
Your TTS and Voice Cloning character usage is tracked per billing period:
- The counter resets at the start of each billing cycle.
- Both TTS characters and Voice Cloning characters count toward the same allocation.
- Usage is tracked separately from credit consumption.
Whitelist
In special cases, users may be whitelisted to exempt them from throttling. This is handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support if you have legitimate high-volume needs.
